Terms of Service

1. Who we are

ResumeIQ ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Usman Raza, a sole proprietor based in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan, trading as ResumeIQ. When you use ResumeIQ, you are entering into an agreement with Usman Raza.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using ResumeIQ(the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you continue to use the Service after we update these terms, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. The Service

ResumeIQ is an AI-powered software tool that analyses resumes/CVs you upload and provides automated feedback, including an ATS compatibility score, keyword analysis and suggested improvements. The Service is fully automated software; it does not include human review, career coaching or recruitment services, and it is not used by employers to screen candidates.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

5. Plans, payment and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

• Plan features, usage limits and prices are shown on our pricing page. Prices are shown at checkout including any applicable taxes, which Paddle calculates and collects.
• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from the "Manage subscription" option on the pricing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to your paid plan until then.
• Unused analyses do not roll over to the next billing period. Free plan analyses do not reset.
• If you switch between paid plans, the price difference is prorated and charged or credited immediately.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

6. Your content

You keep all rights to the resumes and other content you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store and process Your Content only to provide the Service to you, including sending it to our AI processing provider.

You confirm that you have the right to upload Your Content. Only upload your own resume, or a resume you have permission from its owner to upload. We do not use Your Content to train AI models.

7. AI-generated output

Analyses and suggestions are generated automatically by artificial intelligence. They may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your situation. They are general guidance only, not professional career, legal or recruitment advice, and we do not guarantee any particular outcome, such as passing an applicant tracking system or getting an interview or job. You are responsible for reviewing any suggestion before using it.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law;
• engage in fraud, spam or impersonation, or upload content you do not have the right to use;
• upload malware or content that infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
• probe, scan, scrape or test the vulnerability of the Service, or interfere with its security or operation;
• attempt to bypass usage limits, for example by creating multiple accounts, or resell access to the Service without our permission.

9. Intellectual property

We own the Service, including its software, design and branding, and all related intellectual property. These terms do not transfer any of those rights to you, apart from the right to use the Service in line with these terms.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate this agreement. You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing us.

11. Availability

We work to keep the Service running reliably, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available. We may change or discontinue features.

12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost job opportunities or lost profits. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
